November 2019: An all female cast of WAITING FOR GODOT was scheduled to begin on February 6th, 2020 at Oberlin's Department of Theater, under the direction of Tlaloc Rivas. The show was canceled after the threat of litigation from the Beckett estate - the organization that oversees the continued production of Beckett's works and continues to prohibit women from performing WAITING FOR GODOT. January 2019: Tlaloc's adaptation of THE REVOLUTION OF EVELYN SERRANO by Sonia Manzano ('Sesame Street') will have its first public reading at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama (Purnell Center for the Arts, 5000 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh PA) on Wednesday, April 17th @ 7:30pm.

December 2018: Tlaloc's newest work, DIVISADERO, is named a finalist for The New Harmony Project, 2019. It will continue to be in development throughout 2019.
November 2018: JOHANNA: FACING FORWARD is selected as one of the top Latinx Plays for College Theatres for 2018 by the 50 Playwrights Project.
October 2018: Tlaloc devises, translates, and directs LA FUERZA DE ANTÍGONA, a new bilingual version of ANTIGONE by Sophocles, at the The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago.
